Coimbatore District Football Association

On August 6, 2023, Residency Towers on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore played host to an induction ceremony for the new officers of the Coimbatore District Football Association.

The Secretary of AJK College of Arts and Science and a Syndicate member of Bharathiar University, Dr. Prof. Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan, was chosen as the new Coimbatore District Football Association President.

The other elected officials for the Coimbatore District Football Association. are vice presidents Anand Krishnan, Ramasamy, Jesudasan, and Shanmuga Sundaram. Mr. Srinivasan is the treasurer, Mr. Chandra Kumar is the deputy secretary, and Mr. Krishnamurthy is the secretary. Members of the Executive Committee include Mr. Siva Shanmugam, Mr. Saravanan, Mr. Senthilprabu, Mr. Wesley Rajkumar, Mr. Anandan, Mr. Selvasingh, Mr. Gunasingh, and Mr. Ravikumar.

The ceremony's special guest was Mr. Marudu Pandian, president of the Criminal Bar Association of Coimbatore.

Dr. Prof. Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan, President of the Coimbatore District Football Association, stressed in his special address that the necessary actions will be taken to help football players in the Coimbatore area compete successfully at the state, national, and international levels. Future women's football matches would be played, according to Dr. Prof. Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan. Football matches will also be played at the high school and college levels, it has been decided.

In order to make Coimbatore a unique football district in India, Dr. Prof. Ajeet Kumar Lal Mohan underlined the importance of collaboration.
