With a zeal that touched everyone's hearts, AJK College began its Onam celebrations in a frenzy of vivid colours and contagious joy. The grand opening on August 21, 2023, radiated excitement around the campus as Principal Dr. S Raju kicked off the celebrations. His remarks, which reverberated, "Onam is a festival of happiness and the students should celebrate it with full enjoyment," set the tone for days full of happiness.


The joyful celebration doesn't finish after only one day because the college has begun a week-long journey of Onam celebration that will come to a close on August 25. Watch as the Pookalam competition grows and showcases ingenuity at its best, transforming the campus into a tapestry of floral glory. The campus is filled with the aroma of payasam boiling, and the excitement of the competition is palpable.


Additionally, Megha Thiruvathira visits the stage on August 25 to bring the celebration to a close. The centrepiece, the Onam Sadhya, invites everyone to take a wonderful culinary tour throughout Kerala to experience the essence of this cultural event.
